Checking your own credit score is considered a soft inquiry and won’t affect your credit.

Anytime your credit is checked, an inquiry is noted on your credit report. Depending on who is checking your credit and why it’s being checked, this inquiry will be classified as either a soft inquiry or hard inquiry. Soft inquiries don’t affect your credit scores, but hard inquiries can.

 

You first need to sign up for Online Banking. Then you can go to your app store and search for the Cleveland State Bank app and download. Makes sure it’s our app for there is another Cleveland State Bank in Mississippi. Our app icon is white with blue letters and grey arch.

We have Instant Issue debit cards which means you will get a new card the same day at any of our locations.

The Switch Kit makes it easier to transfer your accounts from a different financial institution to Cleveland State Bank. It saves time setting up any automatic payments or direct deposits.

3D Secure is a Strong Client Authentication (SCA) method that gauges if further safekeeping is needed to make sure that you are the rightful card owner.  For some transactions that meet specific criteria, a One-Time Passcode, or OTP is generated for the person attempting the transaction.
