April is nationally recognized as Community Banking Month. It is a time when banks across the country highlight their essential role in supporting local communities. At Cleveland State Bank, we celebrated this year by deploying our Care Squads – teams of dedicated staff volunteers who engage in various community service projects. This year, our Care Squads lent their time and energy to Nourish, Habitat for Humanity, and Fresh Meals on Wheels of Sheboygan County.
Nourishing the Community at Nourish
Our first Care Squad ventured to Nourish, where they assisted in the kitchen, preparing nutritious meals for local schools. This activity not only supported our local community, but strengthened the bond among our staff.
Building Hope with Habitat for Humanity
Another Care Squad took on a project at Habitat for Humanity’s resale store in Manitowoc, sorting and cleaning donations that help fund Habitat’s mission to build affordable homes. Laying the Groundwork for Fresh Meals on Wheels
Continuing our support, another Care Squad visited Fresh Meals on Wheels of Sheboygan County, laying down fresh mulch and beautifying the outdoor area. This volunteer effort supports the organization’s crucial role in providing meals for many individuals throughout Sheboygan County.
